Location: The Heritage Resorts are located on the southwest coast of the island of Mauritius in the 2,500 hectare Bel Ombre Territory. They consist of the two luxurious hotels “Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort” and “Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort” as well as the bungalow village “Heritage The Villas”. The resorts can be reached within an hour by car from Plaisance airport.
Special features: Laid out like a village, the African-designed buildings of the Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort (five-star) are spread throughout the resort’s expansive garden. The name says it all: “Awali” in the local language means “back to the roots” and reflection on the origins. The Heritage The Villas are private villas of varying sizes (up to 450 m²) with two to four bedrooms. Each villa has its own golf cart as well as an exclusive terrace with barbecue area, private infinity pool and gazebo with cozy sitting area overlooking the Indian Ocean or the golf course. Within Domaine de Bel Ombre the Heritage Nature Reserve, two Seven Colours Spas, twelve restaurants and nine bars, the C Beach Club (Segway tours of the resort start from here) with kitesurf spot and numerous water sports, and the Timomo Kids Club, Teens Club and Baby Club.
